Irish National Players at Keisen

Last weekend (Saturday 3rd March) Keisen was visited by a team of coaches and players from Macroom Judo Club in the Republic of Ireland.

The junior sessions were run by the Macroom coach, Seamus Manning and two players, Lloyd and Shane Manning.

The result was an extremely enjoyable and memorable day with all of the junior players learning some new techniques and drills. Both Lloyd and Shane have represented Ireland and have achieved many notable successes. The senior session was also treated to a kata class by Macroom coach, Ted Leahy.

Keisen coach, Tim Draper stated that the new friendship made with Macroom will continue and that he hopes that the two clubs will participate in further joint events in the future.
