Keisen Judo Player Trains at Kodokan
Club member James Draper, recently realised a personal
ambition by training at the Kodokan in Tokyo, Japan. The
Kodokan Institute is the headquarters of World judo. It
was established by Jigoro Kano, the founder of judo in 1882,
and is now located in an 8 story building in Tokyo, Japan.
James took part in a training session in the main dojo
with high school students. The session consisted of technique
and randori practice. James commented that it was one of
his lifetime ambitions and an experience he will never forget.
