Sussex County Junior Official/Refereeing Course

Junior Keisen Judo Club members who are interested in refereeing have a great opportunity to learn more and become qualified within their own club.

On Saturday 15th July the British Judo Association will be running a Junior Refereeing Course at Keisen Judo Club’s Wallis Centre dojo. The event is aimed at promoting a better understanding of the BJA contest rules and will also offer the opportunity to qualify as a junior referee.

Minimum requirements for the examination are:-

Level 1:
10 years of age
Grade of 7th mon

Level 2:
12 years of age
Grade of 10th mon
1 year’s experience at Level 1

Course details as follows:-

Venue: The Wallis Centre
Times: 9.30am – 5pm (Booking in from 9am).

Course and examination fees for Keisen members will be paid by the club

Rule books will be available on the day (£3 photocopying/binding fee payable)
