Sussex Youth Games
The
Sussex Youth Games are an annual event organised by the
Sussex County Sports Partnership to promote the value of
sport and to embrace the principles of fun, competition
and fair-play. The event itself will be a Sussex-wide multi-sport
and family event with the aim of building opportunities,
instilling confidence and encouraging the development of
our young people.
This years games are hosted by Eastbourne and will take
place on Sunday 25th June. The games will comprise of twenty
different sport activities, with the judo event being so
popular that it has been over-subscribed.
Keisen Judo Club has announced a squad of fifteen young
judo players who will be representing the Mid-Sussex area
in the games. This will be the first competitive experience
for many of the competitors and the Sussex Youth Games will
offer the perfect introduction to competition for the team.
