Tonbridge Gradings
Two Keisen players, James Draper and Toine Hodgkiss attended
a grading session hosted by Tonbridge Judo Club on Sunday
1st June.
James successfully attained the grade of 18th mon, (brown
3) the highest grade available at a junior level. James
will now convert over to a senior 1st kyu brown belt in
August when he becomes a senior player, at which point he
will start to compete for his black belt. Toine, successfully
graded from 2nd kyu (blue belt) to 1st kyu (brown belt).
Toine too, will now start competing to earn his black belt.
